Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination Provision

YKCA, Inc. will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is:

  1. In response to a formal complaint or charge;
  2. In furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer; or
  3. Consistent with the Company’s legal duty to furnish information.

 

California Specific Disclosure

In accordance with California Labor Code Section 432.3, YKCA, Inc. is committed to pay scale transparency.

  • We provide the pay scale for a position to any applicant applying for employment.
  • We provide the pay scale for the position in which an employee is currently employed upon that employee’s request.
  • We maintain records of a job title and wage rate history for each employee for the duration of the employment plus three years after the end of employment.
